Meet Casey
I'm a 27 year old self proclaimed "tech guy" who enjoys thinking (the adult version of a 6 year old ceaselessly asking 'what if'). I followed the increasingly typical 'tech route' of teaching myself to code, dropping out of college, and bootstrapping a tech startup in the Amazon space called Viral Launch.
Viral Launch would go on to help tens of thousands of private label and name brand Amazon sellers drive more than $10 billion in GMV on the Amazon marketplace. The company had a significant focus on using data and automation to help sellers make improved decisions, and as a pioneer, shaped a lot of the Amazon seller industry as we know it today. With access to a wide range of sellers driving 7, 8, and 9 figures per year on Amazon in nearly every industry, Viral Launch afforded me a significant perspective of the Amazon ecosystem.
In April of 2020, I joined the Thras.io executive team full time with a primary focus on building a strong SEO pillar into the company. Thras.io, an organization that acquires and operates ecommerce brands, has in just two years built an annual run rate of over $300m on Amazon alone and is the fastest US company to profitably reach a $1 billion dollar valuation.
More than 6 years of experience in the Amazon marketplace, a significant network of successful sellers and thought leaders, and my unique position at Thras.io gives me a rather unique insight to both the current and future of selling on Amazon and ecommerce.
